INFO: Based on a petroglyph from the Peterborough petroglyph site. Depicts a Wabeno Shaman performing a ritual in spring. The flowers at the base of the painting symbolize this. They were initiated and blessed by the morning star. Their specialty involved the use of medicinal herbs, powders and potions. They made these potions for such things as hunting and love. The Wabeno practised alone and in depictions of the shamans they are often drawn with horns or projections. These projections denoted a spirit or superior power.
